Black Hole Club Network

22 January 2026 – 28 March 2026

Black Hole Club returns for 2026 with a focus on nurturing creative practice through sociability, making a space to share and discover with the support of others. We are inviting artists and creators to join us at our Allison St Site and build a culture of exchange together with a series of free events that explore contemporary creative practices.

On the 22nd of January Oscar Cass-Darweish will share his recent practice and research around the browser and creative responses to surveillance, this session is shared with Ikon Gallery’s Youth Programme and can be booked: HERE.

On the 26th of February Carla Busuttil will explore how archives and artefacts can be engaged playfully through digital platforms.

On the 28th of March Vivid Projects will run a social for artists engaged with the BMAP Project and the Black Hole Club Network.

Our aim is for Black Hole Club to connect artistic practices and enable a lively ecology of ideas, works and sharing. Black Hole Club members can also use time and space at Vivid Projects through negotiation, accessing equipment and archival resources along with use of our project space. A number of 1-1 guidance slots with staff at Vivid Projects are available for members of our network through request.

Our core interests are focused on creative work in the expanded field of: digital media, film, performance, sonics, social practice, installation and writing. If you are interested in attending or would like to know more about programmed events and join our mailing list, please email Cathy at cathy@vividprojects.org.uk
