Vivid Lab is our creative hub for early to mid-career artists and
producers, offering an environment to develop projects that explore
new processes, ideas, techniques, and critical thinking. The lab
operates year-round, and we welcome proposals from artists that
resonate with our curatorial focus.

Within the lab we offer an open space that is supported with valuable resources, including production, mentoring, writing support, open-source technologies, audio-visual equipment, and an accessible media resource library. The primary aim is to build a supportive community for artists, fostering collaboration and creative growth.
Public facing activities run in parallel to these activities, furthering our commitment to nurturing a vibrant creative community in the West Midlands. We are committed to supporting artists’ long term development and engaging them with diverse audiences through accessible and impactful programming.
