Black Hole Club Network: Carla Busuttil, Digital Improvisation Workshop

This interactive workshop, led by Carla Busuttil, explores techniques for merging projection and collage materials through play and dialogue. The workshop is an invitation to explore how technology can be used creatively to remix and reinterpret screen heritage. Archival holdings from Vivid Projects will be delved into as multi-media experimentation alongside personal archives and ephemera that you are invited to share and activate in the workshop.

Carla Busuttil is an artist and educator. She works across painting, textiles, video and performance and through collaboration with experimental sound collectives including: ways toward something, Babz on Crack and Spectral Karaoke performing in various locations across the UK. The focus of these groups is to create live, improvised, performances and projections that merge digital and analogue sounds and imagery into a collective response.

You are welcome to bring with you personal ephemera and items that you are comfortable sharing with others. All personal materials will be returned at the end of the workshop.
